Dear Navodayan Family,

Over the years, we’ve stayed connected through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, but we all know these platforms have their limitations: spam, ads, bots, distractions, and endless noise. Worse, our data is constantly sold to advertisers, leading to targeted ads and invasions of privacy. Big companies mine our data like phone numbers, chat patterns, IP addresses, device info, and usage patterns and share it with Meta companies for ad targeting and business profiling.

That’s why I created Navodayans' Net(work)[ www.navodayans.net ], a dedicated, ad-free, bot-free, decentralized digital space exclusively for us, the proud Navodayans!

This platform is built with heart, for genuine interaction, reconnection, and celebration of our shared roots at JNVs. Whether you’re a student, alum, teacher, or part of an alumni association, this is your space.

I’m thrilled to share this platform with you. It’s something I’ve been working on for months, and it’s more than just a website, it’s a space where Navodayans can truly connect, share, and build relationships without fighting on silly egos.

Little About Me :

Let me introduce myself. I’m from Malappuram JNV (1999), and after finishing my PG from CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology), I joined BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre). I’ve been living in Anushakti Nagar, the BARC township, for the last 20 years. It’s a small but tight-knit community here, and that’s where I first created a website for our local group. Over the years, it’s brought people together—employees and their families—and I’ve kept it running for 15 years now. That experience has been my foundation. You can check the creation dates of my first initiative www.anushaktinagar.net, which is almost 15 years now. 

When I started working on the Navodayans site, I wanted to make sure it was just as solid, secure, and easy to use. I took the same script I’d built for Anushakti Nagar, tweaked it, and refined it, making it even better over time. So, you can trust that the platform you’re using here has been tried, tested, and improved over many years. Your data is in good hands. I’ve been hosting websites for almost 18 years, and this is my passion and hobby. I take security seriously, and that’s why our server is located in India (Self Managed VPS) and is free from any bots or data mining scripts. Your data is not shared with anyone.

Some people think and spread a rumor that I earn a lot from these websites or could earn a lot, but that’s not true. The only way to monetize is by showing Google ads and selling your data to targeted advertising companies, which I will never do. I am a government employee with a salary that allows me to live happily. I don’t need extra money by selling your data. I host websites and do programming as my hobby, and I do it with my full heart. Suppose, if I generate income from this website, what is the benefit of starting it with a small community like Navodayans? I will target a larger audience, at the national or even international level to reach more users not navodayans. I will be creating website for all Indians or like facebook to target globally. I didn't do that, instead i started for navodayans, think if you have brains, instead of believing someones' words.  

This website is my personal project, one among 18 others, a hobby I’ve dedicated years to. I’m constantly refining it because I believe in creating something that truly serves the people who use it. For me, it’s not just about the coding—it’s about building a real space for all of us to share, support, and connect. Why I Created This Platform :

Here’s why I’m so passionate about this site: Social media today, like Facebook and Instagram, is full of clutter. It’s all about ads, bots, and endless scrolling. How many times have you missed a post from your friends because you had to scroll through sponsored posts or junk? It’s frustrating, right? And WhatsApp groups? They’re fine when you have a small circle, but as soon as the group grows, it’s a mess. Important messages get buried under random chatter.

This platform is different. I built it so that you’ll never miss anything important unless you want to. It’s a space for you—to connect with other Navodayans in a meaningful way, without the distractions. You won’t get lost in spammy posts or random advertisements, and you won’t have to worry about important messages getting drowned out. It’s all about you, your posts, your interactions, your community.

• Spambot filtering using services like stopforumspam.com.
• Walled Garden ensures login is required to view 99% of content.

• Country-based blocking (.htaccess) with over 4500 IP ranges excluded.
